Acne is a very common skin disease. acne affects nearly 85% of the population.

Excessive production of sebum gives a shiny appearance to the skin with acne.
Propionibacterium acnes is a bacterium that normally lives at everyone in the follicles. It does not cause infection, but aggravates inflammation of the follicle when there is an excess sebum caused by acne.
