Plants and herbs : Melissa, lemon balm


Melissa leaves are used as remedies.
Habitat of melissa : Originally from regions of Mediterranean sea, melissa is a perennial today. 
Melissa is adapted to temperate regions, particularly in North America and Europe. 
The leaves, preferably young, can be collected two or three times during a season.


To relieve children colic, use melissa in combination with other plants (including Melissa and fennel).
Reduce the intensity and recurrence of the symptoms of herpes, use it in external way.
Melissa can relieve nervousness, restlessness, irritability, sleep disorders and digestive  or gastro intestinal spasm.
